I have the following, as shown in the attachment:
Raymarine ST4000+, ST 60 Tridata, SeaTalk 1 connected to an E22158
B&G Vulcan V7, connected to the E22158 via a SeaTalk NG cable
E22158 connected via a SeaTalk backbone cable to my NMEA 2000 network
Raymarine E120, connected to the NMEA 2000 network via SeaTalk 2 port
Standard Horizon GX2150, connected to the NMEA 2000 network via a Yacht Devices YDNG-3 (NMEA 0183 to NMEA 2000 gateway)
It all works... with the exceptions noted below:
GPS data: This works across all devices. The E120 shows a GPS fix, and displays the data from the Vulcan 7. The GX2150 also shows the same GPS data.
Depth: The depth displayed on the ST60 Tridata shows on the Vulcan 7, but only if I power up the TriData and the ST4000+ first. The depth does not display at all on the E120.
AIS: This displays correctly AIS targets on the GX2150, and on the Vulcan 7. The E120 indicates no AIS (a red X), and thus does not display any AIS information.
I don't understand how the E120 can see the GPS data from the NMEA 2000 network, but not depth or AIS. Is there something I can do to resolve this? I really want to keep the E120, as it has radar as well.
Thanks,
Dan
