Hi, what transponder set up would produce the best performance out of a ES98? The boat is a 33' single shaft driven prop. 30knts, max depth 300'

While it is possible to interface the MFD to an external fishfinder sounder module to support SideVision sonar imaging (via CPT200 w/CPT-200 xducer), 600W/1kW 50kHz/200 conical sonar imaging (via CP370 w/compatible xducer), or 1kW CHIRP sonar imaging (via CP470/570 w/compatible xducer), the internal fishfinder circuitry of the ax8 and eSx8 MFDs is exclusively designed for use with DownVision transducers and CPT-S transducers. A thru-hull DownVision transducer would typically be recommended for this application.
