I take a brand new 16gb mSD card with adapter.
I copy ONE Route to the SD card from my pc Route Library file.
I check the SD card had only ONE Route present.
The AXIOM is powered up and Factory Reset carried out.
I check that Zero Waypoints and Routes are visible in My Data.
The Axiom is rebooted.
Axion “My data” is checked for Zero Waypoints and Routes.
The SD card is placed in the Axiom external SD card reader.
Using the “Import from card” procedure the ONE Route is loaded on the Axiom.
Eject SD card from external reader.
Tap “My Data” “Waypoints” All waypoints 1738.
Routes – 120 Routes showing.
The Factory Reset has not deleted the old waypoints and routes from memory of Axiom.

What software revision have you got on the Axiom?

Have you got a chart card in the unit whilst performing the factory reset?

Can you clarify what you meant by 'I check that Zero Waypoints and Routes are visible in My Data.' after performing a factory reset. Are you stating there are no routes or waypoints in the Axiom at this point?

These routes and waypoints are only showing after you have imported from the card?

Can you perform a factory reset and send a screenshot in of the waypoints and routes still stored without inserting any cards or importing any data.

Is the route from your PC route library file originally created on the Axiom?
