Full Version: [CA11] Transducer compatibility for axiom pro rvx

I currently have an axiom pro rvx and I am looking to purchase a b765 A80014 transducer.

My questions are

1-is the b765 A80014 compatible with the axiom pro rvx?
2-which Port on the MFD does the transducer plug into (1kw or Rv)?
3-since the b765 A80014 is a dual chirp band transducer, will the MFD be able to process both low and medium chirp simultaneously and will I be able to view it side by side on screen?
4-i plan on adding the RV-220 in the future, will I be able to use both transducers simultaneously and view them side by side on screen?

I just want to confirm what the answers are to these questions with the experts here as some of the information on RM website is vague.

Thank you
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Mleads310,

Q1. is the b765 A80014 compatible with the axiom pro rvx?
A1. Yes. The A80014 is actually the B765 LH

Q2. which Port on the MFD does the transducer plug into (1kw or Rv)?
A2. Compatible 600W and 1kW CHIRP transducers should be mated to the MFD's 1kW transducer socket.

Q3. since the b765 A80014 is a dual chirp band transducer, will the MFD be able to process both low and medium chirp simultaneously and will I be able to view it side by side on screen?
A3. As indicated in the response to Q1, the A80014 is a LH (low high) transducer. When interfaced to the MFD, the low CHIRP sonar channel may be displayed, the high CHIRP, or both channels may be simultaneously displayed.

Q4. i plan on adding the RV-220 in the future, will I be able to use both transducers simultaneously and view them side by side on screen?
A4. Yes.
Thank you!
You're welcome.
