Q. Can I use a ST8001 control head with a X10 Smart Pilot course computer ?
A. Yes. The ST6xxx, ST7xxx, and ST8xxx legacy SeaTalk autpilot control heads are all compatible with the SPX autopilot course computers. The ST70 autopilot control head and the currently produced p70S/p70RS/p70/p70R autopilot control heads are also compatible with SPX autopilot course computers which have been updated with the latest available Raymarine product software update.
