Hello,
Currently my ST4000+ has a 12V connection and the drive motor is powered from ST4000+.
I am reconfiguring my system to add SeaTalkNG network.
Can ST4000+ be powered from SeaTalkNG and still provide power to the drive., or should the ST4000+ be directly connected to 12V power supply so that the drive is not getting power from SeaTalkNG?
If I have to connect 12v power directly to St4000+ and still communicate on SeaTalkNG then I would have to remove power from the spur cable to ST4000+. What is the detailed procedure for this? The SeaTalkNG will already have a power supply.
I've attached an image of my proposed configuration.
Thanks!
Andy
