May the standard linear drive unit be replaced with a ST4000 Grand Prix tiller drive unit WO86, SPX5GP without alteration to the installed system?

The Standard ST4000Tiller drive can indeed be replaced with the Grand prix equivalent, with no further system modification (assuming that you have installed the existing ST4000Tiller drive at the correct mounting dimension, used adequate size cable etc . . . ..
