I am having an issue getting my ES78 to stay on heading instead of true north. I change the setting and nothing happens. reboot, sometimes is same and other times it will switch over.
Am I missing something in the process?

here to view a FAQ addressing this subject. As indicated within the referenced FAQ, such changes cannot be made while the vessel is stationary within systems lacking a heading (not COG) data source. Once underway and making way, Chart Orientation may be configured to Head Up.
