Hi, im looking for the DragonFly 7 pro. My range depth is between 30/80 meters (100/260 ft) in saltwater of course.

I would like to know if this model work well in this depth range, and I am not just referring to detecting the bottom, but to visualizing fish correctly. Is another model better?

Thanks
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Jose,

While Dragonfly fishfinding displays would have supported operation in the depth specified, Raymarine ceased sale of these fishfinding products at least two years ago. The Dragonfly display product line has been replaced by the Element display product line, which is also designed for operation within the specified depths.
Ohh i like it the hv. wich transducer do you recommend or suitable for this configuration of the depth??

thanks!
Jose,

One transom mounted HV transducer option is available for Element HV displays:
- HV-100 All-in-one transom mount transducer

Two thru-hull HV transducer options are available for Element HV displays:
- HV-300TH All-in-one plastic thru-hull transducer for hulls having a flat, level keel surface to accommodate a 0 degree transducer
- HV-300THP All-in-one thru-hull transducer pair for deep v hulls
