Hi what do I need to get to make my Rl70c work as a colour sounder as well as a plotter and radar many thanks
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Local lad,

NOTE: Raymarine produced Pathfinder Series Displays of the same product name (ex. L760, L1250, etc.) but having different (hsb or hsb2) communications circuitry. As such, it is very important to understand the type of high speed communications circuitry which your display features and then to obtain a Raymarine fishfinding product having the same type of high speed communications circuity. Please click here to view a FAQ addressing addressing how one may determine whether the RL70C features hsb or hsb2 communications circuitry.

Please note that Raymarine long ago ceased sales of the hsb/hsb2 Pathfinder Series Fishfinder Displays, DSM250/DSM30/DSM300 fishfinder sounder modules, and hsb networking components. Likewise, Raymarine can no longer provide parts and service for these products. Accordingly, any solution to that which you are seeking would require that the required items be purchased from the second hand market. Should the RL70C feature hsb2 communications circuitry, then it may be interfaced via hsb Cable to one of the following:

- a hsb2 Pathfinder Series Fishfinder Display (ex. L760, L1250, L755) which in turn has been interfaced to a compatible 50kHz/200kHz fishfinder transducer; or

- a DSM250, DSM30, or DSM300 fishfinder sonar module which in turn has been interfaced to a compatible 50kHz/200kHz fishfinder transducer.

Should the RL70C feature hsb communications circuitry, then it may be interfaced via hsb Cable to a hsb Pathfinder Series Fishfinder Display (ex. L760, L1250) which in turn has been interfaced to a compatible 50kHz/200kHz fishfinder transducer.
