Trying to network both an I60 Wind(STng) and an Autopilot Smartpilot X-5 (St and/or STng) to a NMEA 2000 network.
Q.1 If I understand correctly, the I60 being STng only requires the correct cable (A06045 or A06046) to the NMEA 2000 network. a) Am I correct? b)Will the I60 get power from the NMEA 2000 network doing this?
Q.2 The autopilot is a Smartpilot X-5 with a ST6002 controller and a Course Computer E12122). The course computer has connection to ST (in and out) and STng. a)If I purchase the STng spur calk (A06043 or A06044), will this connect directly to the NMEA 2000 network? or b) Do I have to build a Seatalk network and then use the Raymarine converter kit (E22158)?
Thank you for your assistance!
