I recently put an instrument package on my 27' catamaran with a rotating mast and am looking for help setting up the mast rotation transmitter.

My current setup:
Wireless Wind Transmitter T120
Mast Rotation Transmitter T221
Tack-Tick Remote Display T113
Micro-Talk Gateway (for linking to seatalk ng)
DST800 Transducer
EV-1 sensor core
two i70s displays
p70s with tiller pilot
Axiom Pro 9s

Currently, the wind data is transmitted by the micro-talk to the i70s displays and Axiom, however the mast rotation is not. It is paired to the tack-tick system and reads its battery level and signal strength, but I am unsure how to calibrate it and have it show on the axiom. I have tried to follow the calibration process under "compass" and "dev" but when selecting "dev" it says "wait" and then returns to "---".

Can anyone shed some light on how to use the mast rotation transmitter with my current instrument setup? Unfortunately if I cannot get this to work, the wind data displayed will always be incorrect due to the rotation of the mast. Thanks!
Hi stiletto27cat

Thankyou for your enquiry

Calibration
To ensure accuracy, the transmitter must be calibrated:
1. Fix the mast on the fore and aft axis of the boat.
2. When in clear open water, select the compass setup page on a
Micronet display (refer to the setup section of the user guide for
your display). Make a note of the deviation displayed.
3. Carry out a deviation correction turn as described in the user guide.
4. Check the deviation displayed. If it has changed by more than 1ยบ
from the value noted, note the new deviation and repeat the turns.
5. If the deviation displayed has remained stable, your system is
correctly calibrated. Exit setup on the Micronet display, and unlock
the mast from the fore and aft position

I hope this assists?
Regards
Derek
