Raymarine forum

I have a Raymarine E80 classic display that I'm trying to upgrade from the 3.30 OS. I've acquired a 128mb CF card, formatted it to MS-DOS(FAT), downloaded the updates from the website, unzipped them, and placed them at the root of the card.

The instructions say to insert the card and restart the unit however I don't see any information concerning the systems update as per the instructions.

Is there something I'm missing?

As it appears that you have correctly populated the CF memory card, the reported fault is either rooted in the operational state of the MFD's memory card reader or within the compatibility of the CF memory card being used. Please click here to view a FAQ addressing this subject.
