I have a first gen Dragonfly7 and have not updated my software since last year. I am curious, are the recent software updates for Dragonfly7 pro only if so which one do I upgrade my first gen with that won't harm it?

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum mra22d,

The Dragonfly v12.09 software update is indeed applicable to all Dragonfly displays, including the original Dragonfly 5 and Dragonfly 7 displays.
