I have a ST60 wind instrument. I know the display unit is faulty and have the opportunity to replace it with an ST60+. Is there any issue with making this change? All the connections are similar.

Also on the same installtion the existing transducer has trapezoidal cups on the wind vane. The unit I have the opportunity to purchase has semi hemispherical cups. I'd like to know if the transducers are interchangeable?

Replacing an ST60 with an ST60+ wind display is just fine.
As far as the masthead wind transducers, there are only two that are compatible.
The old ST60 masthead wind transducer PN# D168 or the new ST60+ masthead wind transducer PN#R28170
