I have a Ray 49 VHf radio which stopped transmitting and receiving. It does turn on and i do get the TX in the upper left corner with shows it transmitting but i get no response . Id like to replace it with another Ray49 but can seem to find one. Is there a new model with the same dimensions or should i go and have it checked.

Raymarine has not produced a VHF radio having identical dimensions to the Ray49. Have you considered sending the Ray49 to
Raymarine’s Product Repair Center to be bench checked / serviced. If seeking a replacement for the Ray49, similar features would be found within the Ray50 or Ray52. The latter features a built-in GPS sensor. The installation templates for the Ray50 and Ray52 VHF radios, providing footprint and cut-out dimensions may be found
