My i50 Tridata included a ST to STng cable. Can I connect this cable to my ST 40 depth and use the ST 40 depth as a repeater. Transducers are connected to the i50 Tridata.
Yes, the i50 instrument displays can communicate Seatalk 1 or Seatalk NG, but not both. Is the i50 connected to the Seatalk NG backbone? If not you can connect to the ST40 and it will be able to repeat the depth data.
