Full Version: e165 MFD vs eS128 processor differences?

My customer is updating his older Pathfinder RL 70c and analog radar with a new MFD and Quantum radome to complement the P70R, Evolution autopilot and RS-130 installed last year.
He is considering the e165 over the eS128 for the screen real estate mostly. Aside from the different trim bezel and the lack of an internal GPS and sounder, what if any are the differences in processor speed, structure, number of cores, clock speeds, graphic memory, system ram etc between the e series and the eS series? Any other differences worth noting?

John,

Please click here to view a FAQ addressing this subject. Raymarine doese not specify processor speed, structure, number of cores, clock speeds, graphic memory, system ram for its MFDs. As the FAQ implies, the eS-Series MFDs are designed to replace the e-Series MFDs and correspondingly feature hardware and design improvements over the MFD designs which preceded the eS-Series MFDs.
