Full Version: Help w A128 touchscreen freezing

I have an A128(primary) and A98. They are tied into the network using a HS5 network switch which includes CP370, RD424HD raydome, SR150, RMK-9 remote. Also have the seatalk ng network for the fusion radio, Yamaha engine data, and link to VHF radio.

After I installed software update 17.45 the touchscreen on the a128 started to freeze. It is still fully functional using the RMK-9 but very spotty on the touchscreen working. I also added CP370 to network the same day if I recall correctly(fully updated it too)

I have already:
1) Checked to make sure the touch lock was not on
2) Unpair and repair the rmk-9
3) Performed touchscreen alignment
4) installed update 17.46
5) performed complete system data and settings reset

Its freezing to the point that ive stopped using it and only use the A98. If I turn the a128 off completely then back on it will work fine for a few seconds then freeze up again.

Is there something im missing or forgetting to do?

Given the symptoms reported, it would unfortunately appear that your MFD's touchscreen has suffered a failure necessitating that it be sent to Raymarine’s Product Repair Center to be bench checked / serviced.
