Just installed my ev100 autopilot and system powers up and pump runs but no engine movement at all. The boat is a 2000 ISLAND RUNNER.

Steering systems found within boats of the age specified and newer are not equipped with check valves, eliminating this as one of the possible causes.
1) What is the cubic capacity of the vessel's steering ram?
2) Has the hydraulic system been bled?
3) Does the helm respond to the vessel's steering wheel?
My autopilot seems to be working fine.
