I'm interested in a raymarine A68 combo unit
It will be installed on a 99 Bayliner 2655 Sierra
I seems that it comes with a transom mount tramsducer.

I was wondering if I can purchase the unit with an in hull transducer and what transducer style is the best to use considering the boat specs and compatible transducer. The boat will be used along the east coast.
Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum JMC3522,

Should you view the Ordering Information tab of the Ra-Series MFD's web page, you will find that part numbers are listed for a68 MFD with and without a transducer as well as with and without a chart card (for those seeking to separately purchase chart card). Should be boat not be trailed or should it feature inboard propulsion, then it would be recommended that the A80277 Plastic thru-hull CHIRP (conical) / DownVision transducer or A80350 Bronze thru-hull CHIRP (conical) / DownVision transducer be used. Should the boat be trailered and have I/O propulsion, then the A80351 CPT-100 DVS - Transom Mounted CHIRP (conical) / DownVision Transducer would typically be recommended.
