I am looking to upgrade an existing E120 system with an Axiom 12" MFD.

Q1) Can you please confirm that the new AXIOM displays will be backwards compatible with the DSM300 module using the SeatalkHS/RayNet adapter. If it's not I would likely purchase the eS128 which I see from online is compatible.

Q2) Can the eS128 be used with the DSM300/Transducer & also another transducer(CHIRP) connected to the internal sounder module. I wanted to double check that either can be selected and used independently.

It would however be nice to use the AXIOM instead for future expansion.
Thanks for your help.
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum PetrelMarine,

A2) The TRANSDUCER socket of the ax8 MFDs and eSx8 MFDs may be interfaced to a compatible CHIRP (conical) / DownVision Transducer. These MFDs may simultaneously be interfaced to a CP370, CP300 (retired), DSM30, and DSM300 50/200 kHz Digital Sounder Modules w/compatible 50/200 kHz Transducer to simultaneously support displaying CHIRP Conical, DownVision, 50 kHz, and 200 kHz sonar imaging (page divided into four panes, each configure to display one of above listed sonar sources (i.e. CHIRP Conical, DownVision, 50 kHz, and 200 kHz sonar).
Thank you sir.
You're welcome.
