I would like to replace my old E80 with the 12 inch Axiom can I use my existing Airmar M260 in hull transducer with the new unit. It is currently connected through
a DSM 300?
If so can it connect directly or does it still need to go through the DSM?
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum mlove,

Q1. I would like to replace my old E80 with the 12 inch Axiom can I use my existing Airmar M260 in hull transducer with the new unit. It is currently connected through

A1. Please click here to view a FAQ addressing which fishfinder modules the AXIOM MFDs be compatible with. Please click here to view a FAQ addressing which transducers may be mated directly to the Axiom RV MFDs?
.
Thanks
got it
You're welcome.
What is the benefit of connecting both the RealVision 3Dâ„¢ transducer and an additionally interfaced CP370/CP300/DSM30/DSM300 compatible transducer to a Axiom RV MFD?
Stan,

When not interfaced to a RealVision 3Dâ„¢ transducer and interfaced only to a CP370/CP300/DSM30/DSM300 compatible transducer or to a CP370/CP300/DSM30/DSM300 Sounder Module with a compatible an, an AXIOM DV and AXIOM RV MFD will only support 50/200kHz conical fishfinder imagery. However, should an AXIOM RV MFD is additionally interfaced to a RealVision 3Dâ„¢ transducer, then the AXIOM RV MFD will additionally support RealVision 3Dâ„¢, SideVision, DownVision, and CHIRP (conical) fishfinder sounder imagery/features. Similary, should an AXIOM DV MFD is additionally interfaced to a compatible CHIRP/DownVision transducer, then the AXIOM DV MFD will additionally support DownVision and CHIRP (conical) fishfinder sounder imagery/features.
