My depth gauge has started to just show 3 dashes on start up, but after 30 or 40 minutes will display the depth. The connection seem to be Ok. I am currently in mexico till May 2017.

Should the problem be isolated to the ST60+ Tridata instrument, then the instrument would need to be replaced, as Raymarine's Product Repair Center can no longer service ST60/ST60+ Instruments. An i50 Tridata Instrument would typically be recommended should a replacement instrument be necessary.
