Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Denis,
The AIS950 does not feature a SeaTalkng communications interface and is not designed to be commanded into Silent Mode via an external display. Unlike Class B AIS transceivers, Class A AIS transceivers do not support Silent Mode.

Denis,
Whether interfaced via NMEA 0183 or SeaTalkng communications protocol, an AIS650 may be commanded into and out of Silent Mode via a C-Series Widescreen MFD. Before interfacing these products to one another, it is recommended that each be updated with the latest available respective Raymarine product software update.
