I have limited space to mount a rotary drive. I'd like to mount it to the inside of the transom. Can the Type 1 be mounted on it's side where it's horizontally longer than it would be vertically? Does that make sense?

Raymarine has not specified any restrictions for the orientation in which rotary drives may be installed.
