I currently have both the Lighthouse and Navionics + charts on my c127. I would like to start the live sonar mapping on my next trip out. Are there any advantages/disadvantages of one software program versus the other for this particular feature?

The Sonar Logging and SonarChart Live features of Raymarine's MFDs running LightHouse II software is only applicable to MFDs utilizing Navionics cartography for which an active Freshest Data subscription has been established with Navionics.
