C80 unit will mark bottom but will not display fish. The dsm has green lights. Is there a way to test the transducer? I've reset the dsm, read the books several times. If i then up the gain I just get a bunch of clutter.

It is recommended that you verify that the Transducer setting within the Fishfinder application's settings be configured to match the model of transducer that is installed onboard. If so and should the problem persist, then it would be recommended that the Gain and Color Gain configuration settings be configured from Auto to Manual and then increased until fish are marked.
