This thread is being written to find out how to make suggestions for enhancements to future software updates to eSeries MFD’s.

Specifically, the following enhancements to the chart application are being suggested:
- Change waypoint marking such that, in addition to currently recorded information, water temperature and depth are recorded if available similar to the fishfinder application
- Change track recording such that, in addition to currently recorded information, water temperature and depth are recorded if available
Hi Tom. Where do you charter? I run trips out of Norfolk in the lower Chesapeake Bay.

Not sure if adding the data is possible to the waypoints or the track, but I'm thinking that that additional information on the track points specifically might fill up the available RAM pretty quickly - depending on how often the track points are updated (user selectable).

I agree that additional waypoint information could be helpful when fishing. Especially if adding the date the waypoint is dropped (if not already there) is also available.

Tight lines,

Joe
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Joe & Tom,

Specifically, the following enhancements to the chart application are being suggested:
Q1. Change waypoint marking such that, in addition to currently recorded information, water temperature and depth are recorded if available similar to the fishfinder application
A1. This feature presently exists and has existed for some time. Specifically, should the MFD be interfaced to sources of live depth and water temperature data, then this information will be stored along with the waypoint which is created.

Q2. Change track recording such that, in addition to currently recorded information, water temperature and depth are recorded if available.
A2. A feature request will be logged to consider this feature for inclusion within a future software update to Raymarine's currently supported products featuring tracks.
