Full Version: Radar not working - No Data error

My Digital RD418D 4kw radar is not working this season. I have checked the voltage at the unit and it is 12v or more. It appears to warm up, the motor turns for a second and then is shuts down. I have a C series C90 widescreen plotter which shows the No data error. When I selection "on" on the softkey - nothing happens and the "standby/transmit" key is greyed out. Please help.

I did read this thread and others before posting. This is where I got the idea to check the voltage at the source.
Is there anything else I can do/test or do I need to send it for repair?

Per the referenced FAQ, it is recommended that power alone be switched ON/OFF to awaken the radome. Should this fail to address the problem while the vessel is connected to shore power, then it would be recommended that the radome be sent to Raymarine’s Product Repair Center to be bench checked / serviced.
