olegreg,
The Hailer option will be present within the first level menu (be certain to scroll through the entire menu) if the Ray70 detects that it has been interfaced to an operational hailer horn. Should the Hailer option not be listed within the first level menu, then it may be indicative of one of the following:
- no hailer horn has been interfaced to the Ray70
- the hailer horn has not been connected to the corresponding hailer horn leads (purple & gray) of the Ray70 or the hailer horns leads have not been mated correctly to the Ray70's hailer leads (i.e. polarity of the hailer horn's leads has been reversed)
- the electrical connections between the hailer horn and Ray70 are forming an open circuit
- the hailer horn has failed
- the Ray70's hailer circuitry has failed
Should inspection / testing not identify the faulty component of point to the Ray70, then it would be recommended that the Ray70 be sent to Raymarine’s Product Repair Center to be bench checked / serviced.
