C/E-Series Classic MFD Radar app reporting "No Data" - analog radome or analog radar pedestal installed

Should the MFD be an E-Series Classic MFD and it not have been updated with v5.69 software, then it would be recommended that the MFD be updated with the latest available Raymarine product software update and that a Factory Reset operation be performed thereafter to correct the issue. Similarly, should the MFD be a C-Series Classic MFD and it not have been updated with v5.16 software, then it would be recommended that the MFD be updated with the latest available Raymarine product software update and that a Factory Reset operation be performed thereafter to correct the issue.

If the MFD is operating with the latest software and a Factory Reset operation had been commanded following the software update, then the reported issue is generally the result of insufficient power being supplied to the radome or open array pedestal. To rule out power, it is recommended that the vessel batteries be load tested. Should the batteries be determined to be in good shape, then it would be recommended that the vessel be connected to shore power, that its batteries be permitted to be fully charged, and that after the vessel's batteries have completed charging and while the vessel is still connected to shore power, that the radome or open array pedestal be tested again.

Should the problem persist when tested in the manner stated above, then it is recommended that the radome or pedestal be opened and that voltage be measured at the radome's or pedestal's power terminals to ensure that the measured voltage is the same as that supplied to the MFD or to the analog radar cable's power leads. Should the measured voltage within the radome or pedestal be as specified above, then it would be recommended that the analog radar cable be tested per the FAQ found here.

Should no fault be found with analog radar cable or power, then the fault would be determined to be within radome or open array pedestal. Unfortunately, Raymarine's Product Repair Center can no longer service radomes and open array pedestals having an analog video interface. Should the MFD be an E-Series Classic MFD, then would be recommended that the radome or open array and its cable be replaced with one of the radomes or open array pedestals specified in the FAQ found here (excluding Quantum & Quantum 2 Radomes. However, should the MFD be a C-Series Classic MFD, then it would be necessary to upgrade the MFD and radome or pedestal or seek a compatible second hand radome or pedestal.
