I see it written nowhere that these to platforms are 100% compatible to be networked together. Am I correct in assuming so?

There would be no required software update to do so currently?

Provided that the AXIOM and AXIOM PRO both have the same version of software then they can be connected together via RayNet in the same system and they will have the same operational features.
