Will any further software updates for a/c/e-Series MFDs follow LightHouse II v19.03?
For more than six years, Raymarine produced software updates for the a/c/e-Series MFDs. Each software update not only included feature corrections, but also added a wealth of additional features to the a/c/e-Series MFDs. After more than nineteen software updates developed for the a/c/e-Series MFDs, culminating in LightHouse II v19.03, no further software updates are currently planned for the LightHouse II software. Of the MFDs which were designed to run LightHouse II software (a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFDs), Raymarine has unfortunately determined that only the eS/gS-Series MFDs have the processing power required to support LightHouse 3 software features. Accordingly, a/c/e-Series MFDs will neither be able be updated with nor be able to run LightHouse 3 software.
