I am wondering if a st6001head unit with seatalk can control an all in one st5000 thru the seatalk bus . If so, what functions?? standby, auto , course change etc....will the st5000 beep on changes?

I have an extra st6001 I could put in my cockpit for an extra control..

The ST6001 control head will connect to the ST5000 through SeaTalk and will control all operational functions of the ST5000.

The St6001 will beep when the buttons are actuated - but the ST5000 will not beep.
