I recently purchased a Platinum + card for my A50 and do not see any instructions in the A50 manual for insertion of new chart cards.
Could you please advise?
Will the A50 automatically revert to the originally supplied charts when the new Platinum card is not inserted?

Should a Raymarine MFD having internally pre-loaded Navionics Silver cartography be used with a chart card with which it is not compatible, then the MFD may indeed display the pre-loaded Navionics Silver cartography. When used with a compatible Navionics chart card, a Raymarine MFD having internally pre-loaded Navionics Silver cartography will defer to using the cartography stored on the chart card if it has a later publication date that that of the internally pre-loaded Navionics Silver cartography. For geographic areas outside of the coverage area of the compatible Navionics chart card, the MFD will defer to the internally pre-loaded Navionics Silver cartography. Please click
