I recently replaced my type 300 computer with a new to me one and while functionally it works fine, both the computer and my C120 mfd s how a heading that is 180 degrees out. Also, the mfd chart is also 180 degrees out.
Any suggestions on how to fix my problem?
Regards,
Steve
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Steve,

What model of autopilot was installed onboard the boat?
I installed a type 300, the same model that came with the boat.
Steve,

Unfortunately, support for this long retired autopilot course computer is now quite limited. Have you performed the initial sea trial steps identified within Section 5.2 Automatic Compass Heading Alignment and Deviation Correction of the Autohelm Type 100/300 Installation and Setup Manual. If so, what was the maximum detected deviation, and did you align the autopilot's heading to the actual heading?
Chuck,
I have not - I will try these steps next.

The deviation was 2 degrees, so I then changed the compass alignment and all is well.
Thx for the help.
Regards
You're welcome.
