I have an A98. I have a few hundred waypoints in a non-digital format that I want to digitize at home and download to my A98. What do I need to use to enter these individual waypoints to create one digital file that can be downloaded to my A98?

Can you actually enter individual waypoints into the Voyage Planner software? Looks like it is only set up to import or export existing digital data.

Voyage Planner indeed supports both graphical creation of waypoints on a chart image as well as manual entry of waypoint data. See the screen snapshots below:
