Raymarine forum

Hello, I have an AIS650 which I plan to install into my system.
My Seatalk ng backbone is powered from my Evolution Autopilot. Does the AIS650 require its own power supply or can it be powered from the spur cable?

The AIS650 is not designed to be powered from a SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 backbone.
