Do you presently own a Navionics chart card? If not, then you will need to either purchase a Navionics+ chart card or a Navionics Platinum Plus chart card for the waters to be navigated from an
authorized Navionics dealer (508-291-6000). Should you have a Navionics chart card and an active Navionics Freshest Data subscription, then it is recommended that the procedures posted on
Navionics web site (starts with the Get Started Link). Navionics has additionally posted a
FAQ and YouTube videos providing instructions to update the contents of a Navionics chart card with Freshest Data updates.
With regard to using the Navionics chart card with the MFD, it simply needs to be inserted into the MFD's memory card reader where it will remain whenever using the MFD. Within any Chart application page/pane being viewed the Chart Selection (MENU->PRESENTATION->CHART SELECTION) setting must be configured to select Navionics Nautical Charts.
