Unfortunately, I was unable to locate any data on the specified VHF antenna. Ideally, AIS transceivers will be interfaced to a VHF antenna having a maximum gain of -3dB. That said, the splitter of the AIS700 should function satisfactorily with any VHF antenna designed for use with a recreational VHF radio.

I made a typo. It's the Classic 5216 and has unity gain.
