Raymarine forum

I am in contract for a new, to me, sailboat. It has a Raymarine ST4000 wheel pilot. Despite my google searches, I can't find the specs for the unit. I want to know the maximum vessel displacement for which this unit was designed.

Thank you for your enquiry.

The max displacement will be 7500kg or 16000lbs. Please note we recommend that an additional 20% is added to the vessel's designed displacement to account for Stores, fuel,additional equipment and people when identifying the displacement of the vessel to ensure it does not exceed the specification of the drive.
