Hello, we have problems with a SmartPilot X30 Course computer and hope you can help us.

The problem we have is that the two fault leds above the Seatalk ports light in red, and the computer does noy communicate by the Seatalk bus. We checked the cable and connections and all seems OK.

Thanks in advance for your help,

Martin
Have you checked the two 3A spade fuses to the left of the Seatalk ports labeled Seatalk?
Hello Steve, thanks for your answer,

Yes, the fuses are OK.

Martin
Unfortunately it is pointing toward the X30 Seatalk board then, one other check to determine it is not the control head or another Seatalk device connected. Power down the X30 and disconnection the modular green connector on the Seatalk ports, then power up. If the fault LEDs come on, then it will confirm the Seatalk board within the X30 course computer and I would recommend that the course computer be sent to the below address to be evaluated by a service technician for repair.
