Raymarine forum

I have a fairly new quantum radar that does not not work. Kept blowing fuses. Upon removing the dome to check the wires, I noticed alot of water slopping around inside the unit. It seems obvious that water entry is the problem. The unit has never been underwater, not even close.

Is water entering the radar unit a common problem?

We're sorry to learn of the reported issue and it is indeed uncommon. It is recommended that the Quantum radome be sent to Raymarine’s Product Repair Center to be bench checked / serviced.
