I have installed a new Axiom 9 unit in my new boat and I am having some difficulties/questions about its' operation.

1. Sometimes when I swipe the on/off area on the screen and press the off button on the next page, the unit just goes back to normal operation instead of shutting off. Is the off button supposed to be held or is a momentary touch enough?

A1. The designed action of dragging your finger lightly across the Axiom MFD's Power Swipe is to cause the Shortcuts menu to be displayed. To power down the MFD, the displayed POWER button must be held pressed for approximately 2 seconds.
