How do I create my own map scan Generate up-to-date bathymetric charts. Do I need to go through my phone and will it update the scans to the map/chart installed.

While Dragonfly fishfinders support logging of sonar data which may then be uploaded to Navionics via the Navionics Chart Installer to be potentially be used in future Navionics cartography updates, Dragonfly displays do not support the SonarChart Live feature found within Raymarine's MFDs running the latest LightHouse II or LightHouse 3 software. You may want to check with Navionics to determine whether the Navionic's Boating app (designed to run on compatible smartphones or tablets) supports the SonarChart Live feature and permits it to be displayed within the Navionics Boating app.
