Raymarine forum

I'm installing a Quantum radar dome on my Leopard 39 mast. I have a spot below a diamond day spreader (basically a forward spreader). This will mean the dome is only a few inches below this aluminum tube. Will this impair the radar image?

Radomes are quite commonly installed within the location which you have specified and should not adversely affect the performance of the system.
