Hello and thanks for any input.

I have an EV-100 installed on my 27 foot seaport seamaster. The pilot in general works well except for 2 things:

1. Why is the wheel not fully disengaged when the pilot is engaged. Anotherwards i can still move the outdrive by turning the helm wheel even when i am in auto mode.

2. When underway in auto mode there are times when the pilot veers way off course. What would be causing this?

What type of steering system does this vessel feature? If the steering system is hydraulic, please note that the system is designed to permit the operator to override the autopilot in an emergency by manually turning the wheel. If the steering system is hydraulic, what is the capacity of the vessel's steering ram?
