Hi , I recently upgrade to axiom 9 and is very impress with the unit.
I am plan to add 1 kw transducer to the unit . I fish at 350 to 600m.

Would CP370 work with axiom?
Which transducer do I use

Thank you for your enquiry.

The CP370 will operate with the AXIOM displays and typically the E66079 1kw B260 through hull transducer with Fairing block would give good performance.

Thanks for got back to me. I have aluminium boat so would want transom mount transducer. Which transducer would give me good performance?

The Transom mount transducer, TM258, part number E66084 is a 1kw transom mount unit which will direct connect to the CP370.

According to airmar website, tm260 is better for deep than tm258, would you agree?
Do Raymarine have tm260? If not, would I abe to use pin adapter to connect it to cp370?

Hi Van,

Raymarine do not have the TM260 on our catalogue, but if you could obtain one through a supplier with a Raymarine plug on the cable then it can be used with the CP370.

The 260 has a new broadband ceramic and so will give better performance than the 258

Just out of curiosity, what will happen if I connect the current transducer RV -100 into CP370? Would 3D and down vision still work?

The RV100 cannot be connected into the CP370, it just will not work at all . . .
