I just purchased a new boat that included some older Raymarine equipment. While the screen resolution is less than ideal it will meet my current needs. I’d like to add WiFi output so I can use an IPad app and get all my critical data output (vessel position, heading, SOG, depth, etc) to a navigation app. My current system is as follows:
Pilothouse
E120 classic
Depth sounder and ST6001 auto pilot connected via Seatalk
AIS input to MFD NMEA 0183 input
400G AST course computer input from MFD NMEA 0183 output
Flybridge
E80 classic (I think connected via Ethernet and slave to E120)
Remote autopilot
The E120 has an open NMEA 2000 port on the back.
Does Raymarine offer a device that will allow me to output all my critical data to WiFi? Or is there an alternative 3rd party solution? I’ve found a device YWDG-02 that supposedly outputs NMEA 2000 to WiFi but not sure if I connect this to the MFD NMEA 2000 port it will work.
Thanks
